Please provide an explanation about your reasons for applying for the e-resident’s digital ID as your purpose is currently unclear. According to subsection 205 (2) of the Identity Documents Act, the objective of the issue of an e-resident’s digital identity card is to promote the development of the Estonian economy, science, education or culture by providing access to e-services with the Estonian digital document.
Are you planning to start a company in Estonia? If so, please specify in which field of activity you are planning to set up the business, as well as what kind of goods and/or services, and to which target groups/countries you intend to offer.
Please send us your criminal record certificate. In addition to that, please confirm whether you are involved in any ongoing misdemeanour and / or criminal proceedings/ investigations.
Please send us your CV with information about your education as well as your current and previous business activity. Please make sure to include the exact names of the educational institutions you have studied at and the following information about the companies that you own or are connected to in your CV: company name, address, e-mail, phone number, homepage.

If you do not reply at term, the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board will not continue with the processing of your application and has the right to refuse to review your application.
Pursuant to subsection 38 (3) of the Code of Administrative Procedure, a participant in proceedings is required to present evidence to an administrative authority and notify it of facts which are known to him or her and are relevant to the proceedings. Upon failure by a participant in proceedings to perform this duty, the administrative authority may refuse to review the application upon issue of an alleviating administrative act.
